Seasonal Production Planning (SPP)

Seasonal Production Planning (SPP) is prepared by the Operations Planning section every time the timetable changes. SPP is designed to give all partners involved in day-to-day flight operations an overview of the forthcoming timetable period. It will also provide all partners with detailed information and analyses regarding the forecasts.

Production Planning will be published online one month before the start of each season and includes the following main points in particular:

  • Compilation of seasonal traffic forecasts 
  • Description of the use of the infrastructure, highlighting bottlenecks based on one reference day and reference week
  • Identification of operational solutions to guarantee optimum day-to-day operations
  • Drafts of land and airside user concepts for efficient use of the check-in, gate and stand infrastructure based on demand forecasts 
  • Overall view of the available infrastructure and the current land and airside construction sites 
  • Compilation of all important information and operational planning data for internal and external partners before the start of the season
