The new observation deck on the roof of Dock B, which opened on 1 December 2011, features world firsts such as an observation walkway and multimedia binoculars.
People of all ages can thus experience the “fascination of flying” up close and personal. This excursion destination offers interesting insights into the complex operations at Zurich Airport.
The observation walkway makes it possible to accompany passengers almost all the way to the docked aircraft. The multimedia binoculars, known as Airportscopes, provide background information about fixed and mobile points at the airport. A miniature airport offers children a place to learn and play.
